When you reach out to us or sign up for service, we may collect:

Gate location or access instructions
Pet details (number of dogs, breed, temperament, etc.)
Photos of your yard, gate, or dog(s) as part of service documentation
Payment details (handled securely through Stripe via Jobber)
We may also collect general location info (like ZIP codes) and optional pet birthday details if you choose to share them.

Message us on Facebook, text, or call
Fill out a form or sign up via our website, text, or Jobber
Email us directly
We may also collect information through website tracking tools like cookies, Google Analytics, or Meta Pixel if you visit our website.
📱 SMS Communications & Mobile Information:
If you opt in to receive text messages from Doody Snatchers, we may use your mobile phone number to send transactional and informational messages related to quotes, appointments, service updates, and customer support.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent mobile phone numbers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including information related to SMS communications.
💳 How Payments Work
We never store your full payment information. Payments are processed securely through Stripe via our service platform, Jobber. Stripe and Jobber both use industry-standard encryption and data protection practices.
👀 Who Has Access
Currently, only the business owner (that’s me!) has access to your personal information.
In the future, if someone helps cover a route (like my partner or a trusted family member), they may receive limited access to the information needed to complete the job like your name, address, and gate instructions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with outside parties for marketing purposes.
✉️ Messaging & Marketing
We will send service reminders via email the day before your scheduled visit, and a text notification when we’re en-route and when we’re finished. We may also send review requests or promotional offers via email or text, and only send marketing text messages where explicit consent has been provided. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP to a text or clicking Unsubscribe in an email. We also may use your information to create targeted offers (like sending a special discount if you get a quote but don’t sign up right away).
🔒 How We Protect Your Info
We use trusted third-party tools that follow strict security standards, including Stripe, Jobber, and our website hosting service. Access to your info is limited to what’s needed to provide your service.
📸 Photos/Videos We Take
We may take before/after photos/short form videos of your yard, gates, and occasionally your dog(s) as part of our service documentation.
Photos/videos are used for internal reference, training, or, with your permission, for marketing purposes. Photos or videos used for marketing will never include any identifying information, people, or views into the interior of your home or other structures.
📅 Data Retention
We keep customer records for up to 2 years after your last service.
You can request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it at any time.
👶 Age Restrictions
Our services are intended for individuals 18 and older.
We don’t knowingly collect information from or about minors.
🌎 Service Area
Doody Snatchers is based in Springfield, Oregon, and currently serves the local surrounding areas including Eugene, Veneta, Creswell, and parts of Cottage Grove and Junction City.
If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
